According to industry sources on the 25th, Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone next month alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, with the unveiling likely around the 9th of next month. First The name of the foldable iPhone is reportedly 'iPhone Ultra,' but although it hasn't been finalized yet, Apple internally is reportedly referring to it as 'Ultra' for now. The biggest drawback of foldable iPhones is the price, IT media TomsGuide reports that the foldable iPhone will be priced in the $2,000~$2,500 range, but Phone Arena has set the starting price at $1,999 reflecting the latest forecasts. The 512GB model is priced at $2,199, and the 1TB model at $2,399 . Although the initial estimate is somewhat lower than expected, the price range, which is around $2,000, remains unchanged. The problem is that there may be quite a few features that may have to be sacrificed compared to the price. Some speculate that the iPhone Ultra will only have a 48MP main and two ultra-wide cameras, and will not include a telephoto camera. Additionally, there is a possibility that Face ID will be omitted, as there is not enough space inside the thin body to fit the true depth sensor and other features. Therefore, Touch ID will be applied to the side power button. Additionally, there is speculation that the main unit may not have a MagSafe magnet, and in that case, using a dedicated case with magnets is expected to be an alternative.  As speculation grows that various features might be omitted, some are questioning whether the 'Ultra' name is appropriate, as foldable iPhones do not clearly surpass the Pro models and that 'Ultra' does not suit them. Battery is also a variable, but Phone Arena recently compiled supply chain information and estimates battery capacity at around 4800~5000mAh, while the previously mentioned forecast of over 5500mAh has been regressed.
