So, until June 30, 2023 Australian Working Holiday visa holders can work for up to six months under one employer.
From July 1, 2023, when this period ends, the original visa conditions will be restored, so you will not be able to work with one employer for more than six months. However, in special cases such as farms, you can work with one employer for more than six months without approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs. You can work with one employer for more than six months. So, check whether your work falls under special cases such as farms.
Nevertheless, any work performed before July 1, 2023, is not included in the 6-month restriction period. In other words, even if you worked for the same employer before July 1, 2023 , you can continue working under the same employer for up to an additional 6 months until December 31, 2023.
