Macquarie University in Sydney offers scholarships for Korean students. There are no special requirements to receive these scholarships. Go to the university's homepage, click on Scholarships in the red box labeled 'Explore an area of study,' and on the right side, click 'Scholarships.' On the page with two options, click International Scholarships and Grants again to find 'Find a Scholarship.' Here, select country of citizenship. Scroll down and click on Korea, Republic of, study level, and Scholarship Type. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll see the South Korea $10,000 Early Acceptance Scholarship. Click it!! Korean students seeking bachelor's or master's degrees receive a scholarship of 10,000 won per year. To receive this scholarship, you must have one special condition!! you must have South Korean nationality.
Anyone with Korean nationality can be selected for this scholarship, but to consistently maintain scholarship eligibility;
1. You must register on the first day of the semester where your admission approval is indicated and start your studies.
2. You must study full-time and complete at least 8 courses in total.
3. Your studies should follow the academic progress set by the school.
4. If you take a leave of absence or withdraw during your studies, the scholarship may be withdrawn.
Online students are excluded.
If you receive other scholarships within the university, you will be excluded.
Even if you are Korean, you are not eligible if you hold Australian permanent residency or Australia/New Zealand nationality.
Since the annual fee is $10,000, if you pursue a 3-year bachelor's program, you get a $30,000 scholarship; for a 4-year bachelor's program, $40,000; for a 2-year master's program, $20,000. If you study a 3-year bachelor's program + 2 years of master's program, you can receive a scholarship of up to $50,000. For the 4-year bachelor's program + 2-year master's program??? it would be best to inquire separately. It seems the maximum is $50,000.
